I absolutely adored the charming decoration of Maison D'Hotes La Doucelle. The beautiful old house has been lovingly restored and the attention to detail in the decor is remarkable. The general areas of the hotel, such as the garden, shared lounge, and terrace, are all easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was a joy to relax and unwind in such a well-appointed and comfortable environment.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a bit more assistance from the children working there. Although they were charming and welcoming, it would have been helpful to have some extra support in terms of carrying luggage or providing additional guidance around the hotel.

Amazing activities like hiking and cycling, and even mini-golf! The massage services were top-notch, and the terrace provided a perfect spot to relax. The children's playground was a hit too.
Oh, and how could I forget the inconvenience of having no robes? Shocking!

The hotel's decoration and general areas were absolutely charming, with a lovely mix of traditional French style and contemporary design. It felt like stepping into a cozy and elegant country retreat. The accessibility for senior people was also excellent, with well-maintained pathways and comfortable seating areas throughout the gardens and communal spaces.
I would only ask for a better vacation experience for senior people if the children working there could provide a bit more assistance and information tailored specifically to our needs. They were friendly, but sometimes lacked the understanding and knowledge of catering to older guests.

Their warmth and kindness truly made me feel welcome in their beautiful home. the room and bathroom were outstanding, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep. the peaceful surroundings added to the overall tranquility of the place. the best part was the eco-friendly dinner I had with Jonathan and Isabelle, where we shared not only a delicious meal but also great conversations. Jonathan's jazz music and Isabelle's wisdom were truly inspiring. Maison D'Hotes is definitely a place I will return to. Thank you, Isabelle and Jonathan, for such a wonderful experience!

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, treating us like old friends. They had excellent recommendations for activities in the area. The house was charming and set in beautiful grounds.
The bathroom was not en-suite but it was still private. It would have been nice to have robes provided for getting to and from the bathroom.
